Duderino

THURSDAY SWING—DC12 Fraternal Family Division has a Family Easter Party planned for March 15, from 2-5 p.m., at Sokol Spirit. Call Adam at 708-804-4400 for more info. Or email family@csafraternallife.org.

MARCH COMES IN LIKE A GIANT ANACONDA—Happy March everyone. Isn't it good? I know I'm enjoying the idea of springtime, which is sliding toward us inevitably, like, say, a whale intent on beaching itself. Nevermind what the sky is doing currently, spring is coming. This weekend, remember to spring forward one hour. What I like to do is turn my clock forward one whole day and then when I wake up thinking it's Monday morning, I can enjoy the sheer bliss of realizing there's still more weekend left (even though it is only a Sunday). You do that too, right?

I'M THE DUDE, MAN, SO THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL ME! YOU KNOW, LIKE 'YOUR DUDENESS' OR 'DUDER'—Saturday night I have plans to attend Lebowskifest in Chicago and shoot some bowling pics. (I had to work hard to get a press credential kids....oh the things I do for CSA and this blog!!!) I'm hoping my press credentials will get me through the front door. (Otherwise, I hate when I have to stoop to a little B&E through an upstairs back window to cover an event, oh well, that's the fourth estate for you.) It's supposedly a sellout so we'll see. I'll post some pics next week if it works out.

CY—Thanks for the kind words on the March issue. It's nice to hear. I'm glad you like seeing the Journal in color and lookin' all buff and awesome. A lot of people shot a lot of great photos and I really enjoyed putting it all together, designing, layout and writing the captions and all that yada-yada stuff. This issue is a labor of love to be sure. Thanks to all who contributed. BTW—the March issue is online, check out the CSA website link at right. Once there, click on Current Issue and eyeball some killer photo winners and lots of fantabulous honorable mentions. Way to go one and all!!!

FINS—here's a little artwork I created because someone asked me to. God I'm easy. And I know it. That's not really me on the jetski so here's a shot on CSA's anniversary sampling some of the goodies.
